The Chiang Mai University Management Information System is an information resource on various aspects of the university that is used for planning decisions, both at the department and university level. It originated in the fiscal year of 2006, and it is still growing.
Phase 12 consists of 12 main systems and 34 sub-systems for managing information used in various operations, such as human resource management (CMU HR), assessment of workloads, CMU TQF, CMU Research, CMU Publication, CMU Buildings, Student Affairs and Student Development (CMU SD), finance and planning (CMU e-Planning), for the education development plan and performance certification (CMU PA) in international affairs, vehicle operation (CMU Vehicle), in utilities revenue and capital for international academic presentations in foreign countries, etc. The system is used by more than 11,500 people and over 34,000 students each year as a source of information on various aspects of the university as information for decision making, both at the department and university level.
